Welcome Potential Drummers!
It gives me great pleasure in teaching drums. You or your child’s success is my first priority. I have been teaching drums for over 40 years. Teaching is my passion, purpose and destiny. I am pleased that you or your child has an interest in drum lessons. I am an independent drum instructor at KDF Music Connections, located in Waldorf Maryland.
Drums are a unique instrument that requires patience, dedication and consistency. I will introduce the entire drum set, which includes the bass drum, snare drum, high hat, cymbals and the proper way to hold the drum sticks. This training is to inspire every student that has the desire to play drums or any other percussion instrument. My goal is to provide quality instruction and hands-on experience in playing different styles of music, sight reading, writing their own drum patterns, time signatures, drum theory and provide the student with a skill that will last for a lifetime. My teaching technique is to motivate, be exciting and enjoyable! Drum training will help enhance the student’s coordination, thinking & listening ability, focusing and discipline.
